From concept through construction and inspiration through furnishing, Mey & co works with clients to create unique and evocative spaces that reflect the uncommon brands we collaborate with.

Carrie Dessertine
Principal Designer
Carrie, Principal at Mey & Co, is experienced in both major market and large-scale projects as well as more neighborhood-oriented efforts. She takes a fresh approach to every opportunity that crosses her desk. Carrie holds a B.S. in Architecture from the University of Virginia and an M.Arch from the University of Michigan. After returning to the New York City area, she began working for some of the leading interior-focused firms in the city, including Bonetti/Kozerski Studio and Roman and Williams Buildings & Interiors. She later went on to found Own Entity and then Reunion Goods & Services, both collaborations with talented peers and close friends. Carrie founded Mey & Co in 2020, based in Portland, Maine.
Leeann Morrison
Designer
With 9 years of experience in the field of interior design, Leeann has built a distinguished career specializing in high-end residential and hospitality projects. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from High Point University and has developed a keen eye for detail and a passion for creating unique spaces that resonate with clients’ visions. Her areas of focus include custom furniture design, material research, and the development of Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment (FFE) packages and design specifications.
Mariana Uribe
Designer
Mariana is a seasoned designer with a Bachelor of Science in Fashion from Drexel University, where she specialized in fashion design and art history. With 12 years of design experience, she has collaborated with multiple high-profile companies, including Latrice and Hermanos Estebecorena. Her expertise lies in sourcing and procurement for Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment (FFE), complemented by a strong focus on material research and vendor relations. Mariana is also skilled in managing installations and marketing initiatives, leveraging a keen eye for aesthetics and functionality.
Jess King
Designer / Architect
Jess is an accomplished Architect with 10 years of experience in the industry, specializing in drawing production and project oversight. A LEED-certified Registered Architect, Jess holds a Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design from the University of Tennessee and a Master of Architecture from the University of Texas. Throughout her career, she has worked with prominent firms such as RTKL and Clinton and Company. In these roles, she has focused on healthcare and high-end ground-up residential projects, demonstrating a commitment to quality and innovation in design.
Eliot Bassett-Cann
Designer
Eliot is an accomplished architectural designer with a strong foundation in both academia and practical experience. After earning a Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) from the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD), Eliot has spent over five years in the field, with a focus on design and drafting. Prior to this role, they honed their skills at esteemed architectural firms including Maya Lin Studio, Sheri Fabian Studio, and Aranda\Lasch. Eliot has also served as an adjunct professor at the Michael Graves School of Architecture at Kean University.
